PYTHA - Type Automatic for Vertically Stacked Cabinets
When running type automatic on two cabinets, vertically stacked that share one door, changes must be made to ensure the correct amount of hinges are applied to the door and cabinets.
If not, hinges will only be applied to one of the cabinets. This is easily amended by changing the Part name of one end panel and adding the relationships to the machining definitions.
Please follow the instructions in the below video,
- Change the Part name of the top cabinet end, from End_LH to End_LH1
- Go to PYTHA WORKSHOP>Define
- Open the relationship between Door_LH,End_LH
- Go Edit>New
- Enter new name, Door_LH,End_LH1
- Click Pattern File>Save
- Do these steps again to create relationships between the following
- End_LH1,Back
- End_LH1,Bottom
- End_LH1,Adj_Shelf
- End_LH1,CR_Front
- End_LH1,CR_Back
