PYTHA - Drawer Front Orientation

Labelling drawer fronts and their orientation is a time saving step in streamlining cabinet assembly and ensuring accuracy during installation. By using Type Automatic, this process can be automated—generating consistent, readable labels for each component, including drawer fronts, and defining their orientation. This not only reduces human error but also improves efficiency and communication across manufacturing and assembly stages.


  Below are instructions and video.

  1. Open Workshop> Define>Edit>New Entry
  2. Name the parts in the relationship e.g. DF_1,DBottom (this MUST be exact)
  3. Copy the settings (Below is an image of the required settings)
  4. Ensure the logic matches the Drawer Front number (DF_1 = *D*     DF_5 = *DDDDD* etc.)
  5. Save the new entry
