PYTHA Workshop - Force First Program
PYTHA Workshop allows you to control which face of a part you would like to be the primary face (1st face) when both faces have machining applied. This is particularly useful when running reverse side nesting in ALPHACAM, such as shaker panels.
To control which face PYTHA exports as the primary face:
- Decide which face you would like to be the primary face
- Draw an additional EDGE somewhere on the face you would like to be the primary face
- Select Workshop > My Elements > Force Prog 1
- Select the additional edge that was drawn and centre click to confirm
- A dialogue will appear stating the 1st program is now being forced
- PYTHA will export this face as the primary face (this can be checked using Workshop > Evaluate > Lay Flat)
- If you would like to stop forcing the primary face, delete the additional edge
