PYTHA - V26 Current Issue Log
Hello PYTHA V26 users,
The below list outlines the currently known PYTHA V26 issues that have already been reported by us to the PYTHA developers. If you have found an issue while using PYTHA V26, please check this list before sending it through, to see if it has already been reported. If your issue isn't on this list, please send us a detailed description of the problem - Include as much information as you can, along with any example files, screenshots or screen recordings detailing your findings.
Reported issues still outstanding:
- Some dimensions not snapping correctly - Model and Plotting
- Some Word and Excel parts lists are not triggering templates automatically
- 0-dimensions from older files causing file sizes to increase. (Can be resolved by applying a new V26 dimension style and deleting any 0 dimensions)
- Parts outside of the clip scene re-appear in print to pdf
- Hatching on top layer in print to PDF
Resolved reported issues:
- Change Number removing assigned material in some instances (Resolved from 18/4/2025 onwards)
- Assigning dimensions to inactive layers causing PYTHA to shut down (Resolved from 18/4/2025 onwards)
- Double doors in type automatic.
- View as new detail: some views fixed.
Undo/Load/Save doesn't overwrite other files by mistake any more (Resolved from 23/06/2025 onwards)
Hatching Pattern/Bitmap selection fixed (Resolved from 23/06/2025 onwards)
Load/import layer states (Resolved from 23/06/2025 onwards)
Problem with load/import old pyos with dimensions: parallel dimensions that use reference points (and have a small internal bug) don't get lost any more (Resolved from 23/06/2025 onwards)

Replace with box fit now also works if the replacing parts don't sit at 0 (Resolved from 23/06/2025 onwards)
- Dimensions that use centre dimensions don't disappear on plot sheet anymore (Resolved from 23/06/2025 onwards)
Dimensions using group reference points now work quite well (Resolved from 23/06/2025 onwards)
"H" Key shortcut no longer working (Resolved from 23/06/2025 onwards)
Edging is applied after the function is cancelled (Resolved from 12/08/2025 onwards)
- Assigned edging is removed after clipboard copy (Resolved from 12/08/2025 onwards)
- If work material is active it will apply material to bore holes after type automatic (Resolved from 12/08/2025 onwards)
- Moving part with dimensions, leaves "copy" of dimensions behind (Resolved from 12/08/2025 onwards)
- 2D Text has previous Edit functionality (Resolved from 12/08/2025 onwards)
- Replace function, using 4 Reference Points (Resolved from 13/08/2025 onwards)
- Name of current parts list displayed in bold (Resolved from 13/08/2025 onwards)
- Hatching pattern on top layer in print to PDF (Resolved from 09/09/2025 onwards)
