PYTHA - Copy Your Settings From a Previous Version to PYTHA 25 and Above

When installing a new version of PYTHA onto a computer with an existing PYTHA setup, it is important to ensure settings are correctly copied. This enables users to transition smoothly to an updated version of PYTHA to take advantage of the most up-to-date features, while ensuring all design, drafting and production operations remain unchanged.

To copy settings from an existing version:
  1. Complete the installation of your new PYTHA version (click here for installation instructions)
  2. LAUNCH your new PYTHA version in order to create default settings locations
  3. CLOSE your new PYTHA version
  4. Open PYTHA Central for your PREVIOUS PYTHA version (eg PYTHA 24)
  5. Click Extras > Edit settings file - this will open a new window containing your existing PYTHA settings

  1. COPY the entire contents of this folder
  2. On the address bar, click "Roaming" to move back one folder level

  1. Open the folder for your new PYTHA version (eg "PYTHA25.0")
  2. PASTE the copied settings into this folder, replacing any existing files of the same name
When you next launch your new version of PYTHA, your existing settings will be available.
