ALPHACAM - Nest Priority
When working in Alphacam, you may notice that your parts aren’t being nested onto the sheet as efficiently as they could be. By adjusting a few key parameters, you can dramatically improve material usage, reduce offcuts, and streamline your workflow. Below, we’ll walk through the steps to ensure Alphacam is nesting your parts with maximum efficiency.
- Go to Automation Manager > Import Settings > Pytha Job
- Check the list of Field Names
- If Nest Priority is listed, click on it and change it to Skip Field
