ALPHACAM - Changing Part Spacing

It may sometimes be necessary to change the gap between your parts when nesting in ALPHACAM. This may be because parts are an unusual shape, are very small, or have support tags that you would like to hold parts together on the finished sheet. 

To change the part spacing:
  1. Open ALPHACAM
  2. Open Automation Manager
  3. Go to the Configuration tab
  4. Click on the Nesting Options for your selected Configuration
  5. Under General Nesting Settings, note the current value set for "Gap Between Paths"
           
  1. Update this Gap Between Paths value to your required amount
  2. Return to the Processing tab and nest your job as normal
  3. Be sure to return to the Configuration tab and return the Gap Between Paths to its original value once you are finished
