PYTHA - Large File Size Causing Issues
In some cases, a PYTHA drawing may increase significantly in size. This can impact performance and make the drawing difficult to use. The following steps can help reduce the file size and improve stability so the project can be worked with reliably again.
Try the following to see if there is any corruption, but first save a backup of the file.
- Go to File > Export, and export as selected parts. Select all the parts and save it as a new file. See if that clears out any corruption and reduces the file size.
- Delete all the dimensions and see if there are still dimensions in the file. You can see this by going to Info > Project Overview. If there are go to, Dimensions > Delete 0-dimensions.
- In Environment > settings > pyo options, tick on invalid dimensions and invalid drawings. Open the file again with these settings then save the file. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU TURN THSE OFF IMMEDIATELY AFTER. THEY WILL KILL ALL FUTURE PROJECTS.
