PYTHA V26 - Smart Extend

After a site measurement there is often a need to make a cabinet, or run of cabinets, larger or smaller than originally drawn. Using smart extend, located in Part Tools 2, is a simple and speedy way to resize multiple cabinets.

  1. Smart Extend can be found in Part Tools 2
  2. Under Special > Smart Tools > Smart Extend 

                       
  1. Select the parts to be modified and confirm.
  2. Click on the external points of the length that you wish to extend and in the direction you wish to extend it (the red arrow shows this)

      

  1. Select the new length of the parts or enter the new length in the status bar
      

  1. Select the regions you wish to extend the parts - these will be selected via Picke points - multiple regions can be selected at the same time.



      
  1. Confirm your selection the part will extend.

      
  1. Depending on where you Picke your points will depend on how the part extends (above has two points and below, only one)
