PYTHA Parts List - Keep Groups Closed

PYTHA Parts List - Keep Groups Closed

PYTHA Parts Lists allow you to sort your parts by their group. This allows for a better organised and easy to read Parts List.

Sometimes you might have a group or subgroup that you would like to have appear on your Parts List as a reference but don't wish to see the specific items within the group, for example the collection of components for drawer runners. To ensure that this group appears collapsed on your Parts List:
  • Right-click the group in the Group Tree
  • Select Edit group
  • Tick the box next to always closed in the In parts list section at the bottom of this dialogue, then click OK

  • Delete and recreate your Parts List (or save, close and reopen and your PYTHA model) to update your Parts List with these new Group settings
Note: Be careful NOT to apply this setting to a group that contains parts to be exported to production (such as drawer bottoms and backs) as this will cause the incorrect quantities to be exported.
