PYTHA Parts List - Custom Parts Lists

PYTHA allows you to create your own custom Parts List to suit your needs. These lists can be arranged in an order that you like and then exported in a number of different file formats, such as a .csv or .xml. You can also export to your own custom Word or Excel template making producing cutting, hardware and delivery lists easy. You can add a column to your Parts List for any Part Attribute within PYTHA, you can change the order of the columns and the column title.   

To create a Parts List for you PYTHA model:
  • Draw your PYTHA model and assign your attributes as normal
  • Select Parts list from the Main Menu, or from the Attributes toolbar
           
  • Select the parts that you wish to send to your Parts list
  • A default Parts list will be loaded
  • You can reorder the columns by dragging the header to the left or right
  • You can change the attribute associated with a column by right-clicking the header and selecting Edit Column
  • You can sort the column (numerically or alphabetically) by right-clicking the header and selecting Sort Column, or by double-clicking the header 
  • You can add a new column by right-clicking the header and selecting Insert Column left or Insert Column right
  • You can remove a column by right-clicking the header and selecting Delete Column
           
  • You can further modify the way your Parts list displays information via Lists > Setup
           
  • Once you have a layout that you are happy with, select Lists > Save as template
  • Name your new Parts list and save it to C:\Users\*YOUR USER NAME*\AppData\Roaming\PYTHA23.0
  • You can create another Parts list by selecting Lists > New List
  • To make one or all of your Parts lists load automatically, select Lists > Make default
