PYTHA - Showing Only Outlines Of Complex Parts
Sometimes there may be unwanted Edges within your PYTHA model. These could be the edges detailing a curved part, or a Grain Direction line across a face, for example. These edges are important parts of your model, but can detract from the appearance of a plot page or render. It is possible to show Only Outlines of parts to give a cleaner and clearer model.
- Open the Part Tools 2 menu
- Select Only Outlines from the Edge Visibility section
- Select the Parts in your model that you would like to show in outline only
- Confirm your selection and accept the default Angle for Smoothing of 40
- Your selected parts will be shown only as outlines, but will not loose any of their intricate details when viewed with Solid and Shaded turned on
You can restore visibility of these edges again at any time using Edge Tools > Attributes > Visible and selecting "Exactly all Edges".
