PYTHA - Updating your PYTHA licence dongle (PYTHA 25 and above)

From time to time you may be required to update your PYTHA licence dongle. This may be due to the addition of new licence modules, or to update the expiration of your PYTHA Software Upgrade Agreement (SUA). It is very important that your PYTHA dongle is always up-to-date so that you do not lose access to functionality or features. PYTHA 25 and above can automatically access the PYTHA server and apply any available updates automatically, provided the correct procedure is followed.

ONLY launching PYTHA through PYTHA Central with a dongle is connected LOCALLY will contact the licence server and apply updates. It is important that you launch via PYTHA Central and not through the py_einga.exe directly.  

           

To Open PYTHA Central, double click the PYTHA desktop icon, or run the file "py_Zentrale.exe" from C:\Program Files\PYTHAXX.0 (your current PYTHA version).

If you are running a network PYTHA dongle, you will need to import your licence file on the computer where the dongle is plugged in. If your network PYTHA dongle is located in a server, you may need to temporarily relocate your dongle in order to apply an update.
