PYTHA Environment - Creating Shortkeys

In PYTHA 25 and above, it's possible to create custom keyboard shortcut keys for the vast majority of PYTHA functions. If you can find a function in the PYTHA vertical menu, you can create a shortkey for it. You can use custom shortkeys in conjunction with the default PYTHA settings, or reprogram the defaults to better suit your needs.
To create a shortkey:
  1. Locate the function you would like to create a shortkey for in the vertical menu (for example Part Tools 1 > Copy)

  1. Right click the function and select "Assign shortkey"

  1. If the function you have selected already has a shortkey, PYTHA will display it here in the Shortkey dialogue

  1. Enter your desired shortkey - if the key combination you enter is assigned to a different function, PYTHA will display it here in the Shortkey dialogue

  1. Click "OK" to assign your shortkey
  2. To check all currently assigned shortkeys go to Environment > Keyboard shortkeys
  3. To reset all shortkeys to the PYTHA defaults click "Reset" in the Keyboard Shortkeys dialogue

If you are having trouble locating a specific function to assign a shortkey, have a look in the PYTHA Extras menu or try using the options in the PYTHA Find menu.
