PYTHA Libraries - No Mini Images For Items Stored On A Shared Cloud Drive

In order for PYTHA to display mini images of .pyo files in your PYTHA Hook Menu and Windows Explorer, the files must be stored on a local drive. This may include a local hard drive, a connected external hard drive or USB stick, or a physical company file server. PYTHA is able to display mini images for these files as it has direct access to the file and its contents.

Unfortunately PYTHA is unable to display mini images for files that are located on a cloud based file storage system - Such as Google Drive, Dropbox, Microsoft OneDrive, etc - unless a copy of the file is also being stored locally. Without a local copy of a .pyo PYTHA is unable to preview the contents and generate the required mini image for display.

Each cloud storage system has its own settings that need to be changed in order for file copies to be stored locally and allow for mini image generation. Please contact  your IT providers for more information on the correct settings required for your cloud storage system.
