PYTHA - Importing a Licence Update File

From time to time you may need to update your PYTHA licence dongle.

PYTHA 25 and above will automatically access the PYTHA server and apply any available updates when PYTHA Central is launched, and a dongle is connected locally.

If you have a network PYTHA dongle and V25 or above, you should temporarily relocate the dongle to the computer you are on. Plug the network dongle in to the computer you are using and open PYTHA Central.

For customers running versions prior to PYTHA 25, you must manually connect to the PYTHA server to check for licence updates. To do this, please follow these steps:
  1. Open PYTHA Module Central (Double-click the "Start PYTHA" icon on your desktop)
  2. Select the "Licenses" menu
  3. Select "Get and install license"
  4. Your PYTHA software will connect to the PYTHA Germany server to retrieve your update file
  5. Your licence will take a few moments to update
  6. Your PYTHA software will notify you when the update is complete - DO NOT remove your licence dongle until the update is complete

Please note: If you are running a network PYTHA dongle, you will need to import your licence file on the computer where the dongle is plugged in.
