PYTHA - Parallel Face Function
In PYTHA the Parallel function allows the user to convert faces into 3D parts by inputting a thickness. Mitres between intersecting parallel faces are automatically calculated.
- In the Parts Menu, under Specials, click Parallel.
- Select the object and confirm. A dialog box will appear and you can enter the required information.
- If you check single boards you should also check delete original, this will only leave the new parts. Negative thickness will grow the parts inside the original part.
- In the case of an open part you have the option that the edges stay perpendicular to the opening.
