Freezing Associative Sections

Freezing Associative Sections

Freezing your Associative Sections ensures that your section will not be altered when sections are updated. This should be done once you have completed detailing of your section. 

To Freeze your Associative Section:
  • Detail your section
  • Go to the Section menu
           
  • Select Individual under Properties
  • Tick the box marked frozen in the Section Properties dialogue
           
  • Your section title will display asterisks to indicate that this section is now Frozen
           
  • If you change your model and need to update a Frozen section simply return to the Individual Properties and untick frozen
  • Remember to Freeze your section again after you have made the necessary updates.
